Alhaji Amadu Sulley, the former vice chairman of the Electoral Commission (EC) of Ghana, has passed away. His burial is scheduled for tomorrow, Sunday, March 2nd, 2025, at the Madina Muslim Cemetery at 10 am.
Alhaji Sulley had a distinguished career, serving as the Deputy Chairperson of the Electoral Commission of Ghana from 2012 to 2018. He was appointed by then-President John Evans Atta-Mills and had previously served as the Director of Research, Monitoring, and Evaluation at the EC.
The family has invited Muslim brothers and sisters, friends, and loved ones to participate in the burial process at his residence and the Madina Muslim Cemetery. Notably, Alhaji Sulley passed away while fasting on the 1st day of Ramadan. May Allah grant him forgiveness and jannat firdaus.
