Vice President Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang has vowed to expedite the completion of the Krofrom Market in Kumasi, Ashanti Region, a project that has languished in abeyance for over 18 years.
The Vice President’s pledge was made during a high-profile visit to the market, where she was met with jubilation and relief from traders and marketers who have waited patiently for nearly two decades.
Accompanied by a delegation of distinguished officials, including Chief of Staff Alex Segbefia at the office of the vice President, Policy Advisors Dr. Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, Mansa Amoa Awuah, and Dr. Miriam Rahinatu Iddrisu, as well as Presidential Staffer and Special Aide Prof. Theresah Ennim, the Vice President’s commitment to reviving the stalled project has gingered restored Lost hope among the market community.
