Ghana’s President, John Dramani Mahama, will officially open the 4th FNB Head of State Invitational Golf Tournament with a ceremonial tee-off on Friday, November 28, 2025, at the Achimota Golf Club.
The tournament, themed “Giving Back To The Community Through Golf,” will feature 120 golfers from across Ghana and beyond, competing in categories including Men’s Group A, Men’s Group B, and Ladies’ Group. A handicap scoring system will ensure fair competition, with attractive prizes up for grabs.
Distinguished guests, including Minister for Sports and Recreation, Sir Sam Jonah, and Ghana Golf Association President, Kweku Okyere, will attend the event, which aims to foster community development and social impact through golf.
The tournament has previously received a “royal touch” in 2018, with Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and Okyenhene Amoatia Ofori Panin II participating in the ceremonial tee-off.
