McDan and RNAQ Cleared by the Financial Intelligence Centre

On October 29, 2025, the Financial Intelligence Centre (FIC) announced the outcome of its months-long investigation into alleged financial irregularities involving two proud GaDangme businessmen, Dr. Daniel Nii Nshia McKorley (McDan) and Richard Nii Armah-Quaye (RNAQ).

According to FIC CEO Kwadwo Twum Boafo, the inquiry found no evidence of criminality or financial wrongdoing, leading to the unfreezing of their accounts and a public declaration of their innocence.

For months, the names of McDan and RNAQ were dragged through the mud, whispered about, doubted, and unfairly judged. But now, truth has prevailed. Their reputations have been restored, and justice has spoken clearly: they did no wrong.

Yet even as the dust settles, a troubling wind begins to blow. The NDC, a party that has long enjoyed GaDangme loyalty and sacrifice, now appears to be casting suspicious eyes toward McDan, RNAQ, and Charles Nii Armah, three proud sons of our soil, three men who have brought honor, visibility, and economic strength to the GaDangme people.

And suddenly, their success is suspect?

Such a development raises painful questions about loyalty, fairness, and respect. Political parties often speak of inclusion and unity yet moments like this can feel like betrayal to the very people who have stood with them through thick and thin.

Let’s be clear: GaDangme deserves to thrive.
We deserve to build, to lead, to innovate, and to prosper, just like anyone else.
Our pride is not arrogance.
Our ambition is not corruption.
Our success is not a threat.

This moment must be our rallying call a chance for GaDangme leaders, elders, youth, and allies to rise together and reaffirm our worth. We must demand fair treatment, celebrate our achievements without apology, and tell our story in our own voice. Because the GaDangme story is one of resilience, brilliance, and dignity a story that has shaped Ghana’s progress from the beginning.

For decades, GaDangme has stood by the NDC faithfully voting, campaigning, and serving. But loyalty should never mean silence in the face of injustice. If our brightest minds are being punished simply for daring to succeed, then it is time to ask hard questions. It is time to demand respect.

McDan, RNAQ, and Charles Nii Armah have become symbols of entrepreneurial excellence and pillars of GaDangme pride. Their achievements have lifted our image in business, innovation, and leadership. But if this scrutiny is part of a broader pattern a quiet campaign to undermine successful GaDangme voices then the community must awaken.

We can no longer stand aside while our sons and daughters are targeted or undervalued. The time has come to reclaim our narrative, to speak boldly, and to insist on our rightful place in national life.

This is not just about McDan or RNAQ.
It is about every GaDangme child who dreams of building something great.
It is about the message we send to our community: that success will be protected, not punished.

We will not be intimidated.
We will not be silenced.
We will not be sidelined.
We will rise, and we will speak.

GaDangme Pride Is Not a Crime.
