SEEDAfrique Meets Volta Regional National Sports Authority (NSA) Boss to Strengthen Grassroots Athletics Development

SEEDAfrique executives have met with the Volta Regional Director of the National Sports Authority (NSA), Madam Phillippina Frimpong, to discuss opportunities for collaboration aimed at promoting athletics across the region. The meeting took place in Ho on 19th November 2025.

During the courtesy call, SEEDAfrique representatives, Micheal Dzata, Prince Twumasi Asare, and Billy James Dega, outlined the organization’s commitment to developing athletics at the grassroots level. Key discussions focused on partnership, organizing regional athletics activities, and expanding opportunities for young athletes.

The NSA leadership, including Madam Frimpong, Madam Jennifer, and Coach Justice Quarshie Akakpo, welcomed the initiative and expressed willingness to collaborate.

The NSA will advise on the specific dates for the planned activities, expected to take place between December 2025 and January 2026.

This engagement marks the beginning of a structured effort to strengthen sports development systems and expand pathways for emerging athletes across the Volta Region.
