Kennedy Agyapong, Must Respect the Dead? Allow Chairman Kutin to Rest in Peace

Kennedy Agyapong, must you disrespect even the dead?! Won’t you at least respect the dead? What drives this man to speak with such contempt for the late Central Regional NPP Chairman, Robert Kutin Jr.? Every time he opens his mouth, it is with a tone that belittles, demeans, and seeks to make others feel inferior as though he alone sits on a throne of superiority.

Kennedy Agyapong, the self-proclaimed champion of insults, cannot stand being insulted himself. Yet here he goes again, showing utter disregard and disdain for the memory of a man who served his party with loyalty and dignity. How can one man claim to be both kind and cruel, both patriotic and destructive?

Thank God, at least, that there are those he cannot patronize, the wise who see through his antics. For what purpose does he cast aspersions on the late Chairman Kutin’s name? What is his motive in dragging the dead into his political bitterness, if not out of malice and cowardice? It is a shameful act to attack the reputation of one who can no longer defend himself.

Kennedy Agyapong will forever remain a denigrant as long as he continues to betray his own conscience and refuses to restrain his reckless tongue. Must it always be about what he has done for the NPP, and never about what the NPP has done for him?

This latest controversy between Kennedy Agyapong and the late Robert Kutin Jr. only exposes the toxic undercurrents within the NPP. Their rift revolved around political influence and control, a power struggle disguised as principle. Agyapong’s revelation that he once negotiated ministerial appointments laid bare the behind-the-scenes wrangling for power and patronage.

When he threatened to sabotage the party’s fortunes in the Central Region unless the executives, led by Kutin, supported his presidential bid, he crossed a line. Such threats reveal not leadership but desperation, a willingness to destroy the very house that raised him if it no longer serves his ambition.
Kennedy Agyapong must be reminded: Respect is not a weakness, and death deserves dignity.
