The Speaker also set up a Committee to probe into Thursday’s disturbance which led to the destruction of some properties.
Moreover, the four MPs would also be surcharged for the destructions and would not be permitted to enter the chamber of Parliament for these period.
He also described the incident as embarrassing and warned against such acts that brings the name of Parliament into disrepute.
Thursday’s incident disrupted the smooth conduct of the committee’s work with tables and microphones destroyed in the process.
The awkward situation also saw the MPs in a near exchange of blows.
The Speaker expressed his disappointment in the MPs and cautioned them and others against such acts in future.
The decision to suspend the MPs he said, would serve as deterrent to others and ensure that such incidents do not occur again.
