WONTUMI’S ARREST: A DELIBERATE ATTEMPT TO DIVERT ATTENTION FROM THIS GOVERNMENT’S SHADY PRIVATE JET MOVEMENTS?

Do we all remember the private jet – (VistaJet 836), a Bombardier Global Express (twin-jet) that brought back our Vice President, Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, into the country?

The jet, which charges $20,000 per hour, has been moving in and out of Ghana within the past seven (7) days.

The private aircraft arrived in Ghana on Tuesday, 27th May 2025, the very day Chairman Wontumi was arrested by EOCO in Rambo-style from Finima River, Nigeria, at 8:21 PM GMT.

The jet is currently on the apron (tarmac) at Kotoka International Airport.

After bringing back our Vice President to Ghana on Thursday, 22nd May 2025, the jet’s next destination was London Luton on Friday, 23rd May 2025.

From Luton, London, it flew straight to the United Arab Emirates (Dubai), but made a quick stop at Bateen in the UAE on Saturday, 24th May 2025, at 7:38 PM.
On the same day, it left Bateen at 9:10 PM and finally landed in Dubai at 9:37 PM.

The jet then departed to Dubai International Airport at 7:38 AM on Sunday, 25th May 2025, and landed in Abuja, Nigeria, at 12:57 PM WAT.

However, on Tuesday, 27th May 2025, the exact day Wontumi was arrested — the same jet departed Abuja, Nigeria, at 7:21 AM WAT and arrived at Kotoka International Airport at 7:23 AM GMT.

What’s even more interesting is that, on the same day (27/05/2025), the jet departed Kotoka Airport at 10:23 AM GMT, arrived in Finima Rivers, Nigeria, at 12:28 PM WAT, and later left Nigeria at 8:16 PM WAT, finally landing back in Ghana at 8:21 PM GMT.

From the flight records, it is clear that the jet that brought our dear Mother, H.E. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang — VistaJet 836, Bombardier Global Express had an extremely busy day on the same day Chairman Wontumi was arrested.

This sequence of movements raises serious questions and must be investigated.

The government must come clean on who or what the jet was carrying.
We deserve to know why the very jet that brought back our Vice President became so active on the day a regional chairman of the NPP was arrested in grand style.

Was the arrest a deliberate attempt by the government to divert attention from the suspicious movements of the Vice President’s private jet?

Which government official was on the flight?

Why is the jet still in Ghana?

As citizens, we demand answers.

NB: This is a demand for transparency, not an attempt to impugn criminality on anyone’s part.

Cheers.
