SOUTH DAYI DCE ATTENDS COMMUNAL LABOR AT TONGOR-DZEMENI MARKET

On Tuesday, June 17, 2024, *Hon. Courage Kwame Kokroko,* District Chief Executive for South Dayi Constituency, accompanied by Constituency Executives, including Constituency Organiser *Mr. Michael Vudo Akaho,* attended a communal labor event at Tongor-Dzemeni. The community came together for a market cleaning exercise, initiated by Assembly Members, *Hon. Thomas Avuwadah and Hon. John Abotsi,* along with their unit committee members.

As a strong advocate for cleanliness, *Hon. Kokroko* praised the assembly members, unit committee, chiefs, elders, and the entire community for their efforts. He emphasized the importance of sustaining this initiative and pledged to collaborate with *Hon. Rockson-Nelson Kwame Etse Dafeamekpor,* Member of Parliament and Majority Chief Whip, to ensure its continuity and mitigate challenges.

The President’s representative for South Dayi District also highlighted the national clean-up exercise, scheduled for the first Saturday of every month, as initiated by *His Excellency John Dramani Mahama* . He encouraged the gathering to take the exercise seriously, promising a district award for the best participating community.

During the event, *Hon. Kokroko* inspected the deteriorated Dzemeni-Dzakiti-Adzebui road and promised to work with *Hon. Dafeamekpor* to address this issue, along with other infrastructure concerns such as dilapidated market sheds and the slaughterhouse.

The chiefs, elders, assembly members, unit committee members, and the community expressed gratitude for the *MP* and the *DCE’s* words of encouragement and commitment to their development.
