Sam George holds productive stakeholder engagement with MTN,other institutions The Minister of Communications and Digitalisation.

Mr Sam George on Monday, held.a series of important engagements with key stakeholders in the communications and digital sector.Key among the engagements was a productive meeting with a team from MTN Ghana, led by the Chief Executive Officer(CEO), Stephen Blewett.

The discussions centered around critical issues affecting the telecommunications sector, with both parties expressing confidence that positive developments are on the horizon.

Following this, the Minister met with the National Communications Authority Staff Association to address matters concerning the operations of the National Communications Authority Ghana and staff welfare. The engagement was a constructive dialogue, with both sides looking forward to future collaborations aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of the Authority and the well-being of its staff.

The Minister also met with the Executives of the Ghana eSports Federation, emphasizing the importance of investing in non-traditional sports disciplines. With the rise of eSports globally, the Minister highlighted the untapped potential within this sector and urged for greater support to help eSports thrive in Ghana.In closing, the Minister reiterated their commitment to service, stating, “in service to God and Country, the engagements mark a significant step forward in advancing the digital and communications landscape in Ghana.”
