Ghanaian reggae and afrobeat artist Rocky Dawuni has received recognition from the esteemed Grammy Awards Academy.

On May 10, 2025, the four-time Grammy nominee took to X to share a certificate he received from the Academy, acknowledging his nomination in the 67th edition of the awards. The certificate celebrates his song “Rise,” which has been nominated for Best Global Music Performance this year.

“I just landed in Los Angeles and received this Grammy certificate for #Rise in the mail. ‘Rise’ was nominated for ‘Best Global Music Performance’ at the 67th Grammy Awards,” he stated.

The acclaimed artist, known for his hit “Beautiful People,” expressed his heartfelt appreciation to his team, particularly the producers and musicians who played a vital role in his success. 

“Blessings and love to all the musicians, producers, and incredible team who made it possible!” he concluded.
