Accra, Ghana – In a move aimed at strengthening his administration, President John Dramani Mahama has appointed a new batch of deputy ministers to support his government.
The appointments, which were announced earlier today, see a mix of experienced politicians, technocrats, and celebrities taking up key roles in various ministries.
Renowned actor and politician, John Dumelo, has been appointed as Deputy Minister for Agriculture, bringing his expertise in farming and advocacy to the role.
Suhini Alhassan, a seasoned politician, has been appointed as Deputy Minister for Roads, tasked with overseeing the development and maintenance of Ghana’s road network.
Other notable appointments include Yusif JaJah as Deputy Minister for Tourism, Culture, and Creative Arts; Docars Toffee as Deputy Minister for Communications; and Hajia Afra Nasira as Deputy Minister for Transport.
