The Operation Recover All Loots (ORAL) Committee is set to present its report to President John Dramani Mahama today, Monday January 10.This was disclosed by the Presidential Advisor and Aide to President Mahama, Joyce Bawa Bogtari via a post on social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter.The ORAL Committee was set by the President as part of effort to investigate corruption and recover stolen public resources.By far, the committee has indicated that, it has processed over 700 petitions from the public and set to come out with a report.After receiving the report, it would be forwarded to investigative bodies for further action.During his tour in the Central Region last week, the President indicated that, individuals found guilty would face the law accordingly.“Those currently in office should know that they will be held to the same standard as we are holding to past regime,” he stressed.According to analysts, the committee’s report would be a huge boost to addressing financial malfeasance.The ORAL Committee is chaired by Member of Parliament for North Tongu Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa with former Auditor-General Daniel Domelevo, retired Commissioner of Police, Nathaniel Kofi Boakye, private legal practitioner Martin Kpebu and investigative Journalist, Raymond Archer as members.
