
Patrick Yaw Boamah, a Member of Parliament for Okaikwei Central Constituency, was appointed as the Ambassador for the 2025 Christian Home Week Celebrations. The announcement was made during a ceremony at the Presbyterian Church Head Office in Accra on Tuesday.
In his acceptance speech, Boamah expressed gratitude to God and the Christian Council of Ghana for the honor. He thanked the Council’s leadership for recognizing his dedication to promoting Christian family values. “I am deeply grateful to God for this moment and to the Christian Council for this honor as the Ambassador for the 2025 Christian Home Week Celebrations,” he said.
Boamah underscored the significance of marriage in building strong families and a prosperous nation. “When we honor marriage as ordained by God, we build strong family institutions,” he stated. He emphasized that a thriving nation depends on loving and purposeful homes, expressing hope that collective efforts would foster a Ghana rooted in love, peace, and purpose.
Organized annually by the Christian Council, Christian Home Week promotes family values, moral upbringing, and spiritual growth in Ghanaian households.
