Vehicles of the former Director of Operations at the Jubilee House, Lord Oblitey Commey, that were seized during a midnight raid on his private property on January 31, have been returned.In all, the six cars taken away by unidentified men had since been returned to the owner in good shape, according to sources.The move followed intervention from high-ranking members of the government who expressed displeasure on the seizure.Sources further indicated that the vehicles’ timely release was due to the government’s anger about how the armed men some in military uniforms carried out the seizure.Mr Commey alsp confirmed the return of his vehicles and expressed gratitude to senior government officials for their intervention.Lord Commey is one of the household names in Ghana politics serving in various roles, including National Organizer, National Youth Organizer and Director of Operations for the Nana Akufo-Addo campaigns in 2012 and 2016.
