Kaneshie Traders Happy as Hon. Ebenezer Aidoo Fixes All Faulty Streetlights

The Kaneshie electoral area is glowing tonight after the Assembly Member, Hon. Ebenezer Aidoo, successfully repaired every faulty streetlight in the district. The move has brought a new sense of safety and excitement to one of Accra’s busiest commercial hubs.

During an interview at the Kaneshie Market this evening, traders could not hide their joy. Many explained that the lack of lights had previously made it difficult to work after sunset, but the new bright streets have changed everything.

“Hon. Ebenezer Aidoo is doing a great job,” one trader shared. “We are very happy because the lights help us see our customers and our money. It has also stopped people from trying to rob us in the dark.”
It is not just the lights that have residents talking. Local shopkeepers pointed out that Hon. Aidoo is a constant fixture in the community, especially during Sanitation Day.

Unlike some officials who only watch from the sidelines, residents say the Assembly Member is always on the ground, working side-by-side with the people to clean the gutters and streets. This “servant-leader” approach has earned him deep respect across the electoral area.

The Road to Parliament?
The Assembly Member’s hard work has triggered a conversation about his political future. Many in the market believe his performance at the local level is a sign of greater things to come.

“He has shown he cares about the small things that matter to us,” a veteran trader remarked. “Some of us believe that with this kind of work, Hon. Ebenezer Aidoo deserves to one day become the MP for Okaikwei South.”

For now, the people of Kaneshie are simply enjoying the safety of their well-lit streets, thanks to an Assembly Member who stays true to his word.
