Ghana’s Interior Minister has pledged to fast-track the passage of the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) legislative instrument. This move is aimed at enhancing NADMO’s capacity to effectively manage disasters and emergencies across the country.

The NADMO legislative instrument is expected to bolster the organization’s mandate, which includes disaster prevention, awareness creation, and relief provision to affected communities.
