The Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC), Mr. Simon Madjie(Esq) has reaffirmed the Centre’s commitment to attracting diaspora investment, following talks with the Director of Diaspora Affairs at the Presidency, Kofi Okyere Darko.
The two officials met in Accra to discuss ways to deepen collaboration and develop long-term strategies for engaging the Ghanaian diaspora in national economic growth.
Mr Okyere Darko underscored the significance of strategic partnerships in unlocking the economic potential of Ghanaians abroad, saying their resources, skills and networks remain underutilised assets in the country’s development.
In response, Mr Madjie said the GIPC is working to streamline investment processes through targeted incentives and supportive legislation.
He added that the Centre sees the diaspora not just as investors, but as key partners in Ghana’s economic transformation.
