The Electoral Commission of Ghana has initiated the nomination process for the Council of State elections, set for February 11, 2025. Announced in a press release on January 22, 2025, by EC Chairperson Mrs. Jean Mensa, the nomination period will run from January 28 to 31, 2025, at regional EC offices.

Candidates must submit nomination forms, which can be downloaded from the EC’s website, along with two passport-sized photos and endorsements from two registered voters in their region, plus support from an additional 20 voters.
