International Tour du Ghana 2025 Unveils Stunning Leader Jerseys and Over GH₵300,000 in Prize Money

Organisers of the highly anticipated International Tour du Ghana 2025 have revealed a vibrant collection of leader jerseys and a lucrative prize structure that promises to make the inaugural edition one of the richest stage races on the African cycling calendar.
The 15-day race, featuring a prologue, individual time trial and multiple road stages, will see riders competing not only for overall glory but for eleven distinctive classification jerseys sponsored by leading Ghanaian companies and institutions.

Best Daily Stage Winner – Yellow and Black Jersey (Sponsored by MTN Ghana)
General Classification (Overall Individual Time) – Yellow Jersey (Dot Ateliers – Black Star Experience)
Points Classification – Green Jersey (Akwamu Akotoi State)
King of the Mountains (Best Climber) – Black and Yellow Jersey (Ghana Tourism Authority)
Best Young Rider – White Jersey (Verner Water)
Intermediate Sprints – Red & White Jersey (Prudential Life Insurance – PLI)
Best Ghanaian Rider – Red, Yellow & Green Jersey (Ministry of Youth and Sports)
Best Veteran (Oldest) Rider – Blue and Black Jersey (Strategic Africa Security – SAS)

A special Individual Time Trial prize of GH₵6,000 will be awarded to the fastest rider in the race against the clock.

The International Tour du Ghana 2025 is expected to attract top African and international professionals when it rolls out in early 2025, with the route set to showcase the country’s diverse landscapes from the coastal plains to the highlands of the Ashanti and Volta regions.
