Ghanaian students set for record-breaking Europe summer camp

A group of 108 Ghanaian students and chaperones are getting ready for an exciting three-week trip to Europe. The Europe Summer Camp and Educational Tour, organized by Edibeck Consult, aims to promote education, cultural exchange, and global exposure for Ghanaian youth.

The program, which started six years ago, has grown from 13 participants to a record-breaking 108 this year. The Managing Director of Edibeck Consult, Kwadwo Obiri Ampong, explained that the program’s goal is to empower young Ghanaians to compete globally.

During the trip, participants will visit the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, and France. They will take language courses, attend workshops on AI, sustainability, and entrepreneurship, and visit universities. They will also see cutting-edge technology in global innovation hubs.

Mr. Ampong emphasized that the program is unique because it combines education, culture, and innovation in a way that is hard to replicate locally. He encouraged participants to be proud of their Ghanaian culture and to showcase it to the world.

The program is mostly funded by parents, but Edibeck Consult also provides support to deserving students. This year, four “smart-but-needy” students were fully funded by the organization.

As the participants prepare to leave, they are excited to learn, grow, and represent Ghana on the global stage. The Europe Summer Camp is a life-changing experience that will help them build a brighter future.
