Ghanaian media personality Berla Mundi has called out the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for using thugs to disrupt the ongoing election rerun in Ablekuma North. In a post on X dated July 11, 2025, she pointed out the hypocrisy of the NDC, which previously condemned similar actions by the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
“You condemn the NPP for unleashing thugs on people during elections only to repeat the same thing?” she questioned, urging Ghanaians to reconsider their trust in the party. Berla stressed that elections should not be violent and demanded the arrest and prosecution of those involved in the chaos. “It’s an election, not a war zone. If you disagree with someone, you don’t resort to violence!” she asserted.
