The GaDangme Youth Forum, in partnership with the Coalition of GaDangme Pressure Groups and the Concerned Youth of Ga Mashi, has announced the postponement of their much-anticipated Solidarity Walk, which was originally scheduled for June 28, 2025, in Accra.
In an official statement released to the public, the leadership cited careful consideration of current circumstances as the reason for the postponement. The decision aims to ensure maximum participation, security, and overall effectiveness of the event, which is designed to promote unity and social justice for the GaDangme people and the broader Accra community.
“We remain committed to our cause and reiterate our unwavering dedication to promoting unity, development, and social justice for the GaDangme people,” the statement read.
While a new date for the Solidarity Walk has yet to be announced, organizers are urging supporters to stay engaged and prepared for full participation once the revised schedule is communicated. They expressed their sincere apologies for any inconvenience the postponement may cause and thanked the community for their understanding and continued support of their mission.
The Solidarity Walk was intended to be a significant gathering aimed at raising awareness on issues affecting the GaDangme community, and its postponement has raised questions among supporters eager to participate. Further updates will be provided as the situation develops.
