DANGOTE PEUGEOT COMMENCES ASSEMBLY OF PEUGEOT 3008 GT IN KADUNA

Dangote Peugeot Automobiles Nigeria Limited (DPAN) has officially started assembling the Peugeot 3008 GT model at its state-of-the-art plant in Kaduna, Nigeria. This milestone marks a significant step forward in DPAN’s efforts to reestablish itself as a leader in Nigeria’s automotive market.The Peugeot 3008 GT boasts a powerful 1.6-litre turbo engine, expanding DPAN’s lineup of locally assembled vehicles. This new model joins the existing range of “Made-in-Nigeria Peugeot” vehicles, including the popular 301 sedan and the spacious 5008 SUV.In addition to the 3008 GT, DPAN has also introduced a new pickup model, the Peugeot Landtrek 4×2. This marks DPAN’s entry into the light commercial vehicle segment. The Landtrek 4×2 features a rear-wheel drive system, powered by a 2.4-litre engine.As a joint venture between Dangote Industries Ltd, Kaduna State Government, and PSA Group-Peugeot, DPAN is poised to reclaim its position as a major player in Nigeria’s automotive industry.
