A devastating fire outbreak ravaged a slum near Kissiman Junction, claiming the life of a four-month-old baby. The inferno, which broke out in the early hours of yesterday, destroyed over 20 wooden structures and their contents.Despite the swift response of the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS), the infant could not be saved. The charred remains have been handed over to the police for further investigation.Firefighters from the Legon and Abelemkpe Fire Stations responded promptly, containing the blaze and preventing it from spreading to nearby buildings. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
